How To Enrol
Step 1: Check your child’s eligibility
Start by checking when your child is eligible to begin Kindy in Queensland. You can use the Kindy Calculator to confirm age requirements and the correct starting year.
Step 2: Submit your waitlist application
When you’re ready, simply complete the waitlist application. We accept applications from birth, and places are offered in the order we receive them — so the earlier you apply, the better.
Step 3: Confirmation
Once your waitlist application has been processed, Weipa Kindy will send you a confirmation email. Families are also welcome to contact the centre at any time to arrange a tour and visit the Kindy (optional).
Keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages for updates on when enrolments will be sent out. Once enrolments are finalised, we offer orientation sessions so you and your child can meet the staff and other children and families in their class.
