Our Environment
At Weipa Community Kindy, we are dedicated to creating an environment that is safe, inclusive, accepting and supportive for all families, children and staff who enter our gates.
Our facility overlooks the picturesque Rock Point beach and provides a serene backdrop for learning. Children are regularly encouraged to engage in outdoor play and community walks, promoting a connection to nature and the community.
Our indoor areas are air-conditioned and includes enriching spaces to stimulate curiosity and a love for learning through play. Our gardens and on-country walks support children to develop a deep respect for and understanding of the natural world.
