Our Programs

At Weipa Community Kindergarten, our programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.

We provide a safe and supportive environment where children are encouraged to explore, take risks and discover new ideas through play. Each child’s interests are at the heart of our curriculum, allowing us to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences.

We see every child as capable, curious and unique. By nurturing their strengths and supporting their individual development, we help children feel confident, valued and understood.

Children are encouraged to make choices, take initiative, and actively participate and direct their learning. Through both indoor and outdoor experiences, including on-country learning, Children develop independence, curiosity and a strong connection to the world around them.
