Cultural Connections

Our Kindy children recently had a wonderful opportunity to visit Achimbun, the Western Cape Cultural Centre, Western Cape Communities Trust - WCCCA and learn more about the rich culture, history, languages and traditions of the Traditional Custodians of the lands we are connected to. 🌿

The children engaged with stories, knowledge, art and artefacts that helped deepen their understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives. It was a beautiful opportunity to listen, ask questions, share ideas and strengthen our connection to our local community and environment.

A special thank you to the Elders and staff at the Western Cape Cultural Centre for sharing your knowledge and welcoming us. We are so grateful for the experiences and learning you provided.
