Palm Cockatoo Returns

Just when we thought our Palm Cockatoo story couldn’t get any more remarkable…

Well, it turns out that our Palm Cockatoo visitor wasn't just passing through...today 3 Palm Cockatoos visited our outdoor learning environment!

For many people, seeing even one Palm Cockatoo is a rare and memorable experience. To have three of these magnificent birds visit together was something truly extraordinary. The children watched in awe as they moved through the trees, calling to one another and reminding us just how special our local environment is. Then two black cockatoos gently soared over the fence, landing on our grassy hill.

Next thing we spotted two Blue-winged Kookaburras - turning our Kindy into a hub of wildlife discovery!

What began as a single unexpected sighting has now sparked a growing investigation. The children are becoming passionate researchers as they explore:
